Learning Analytics Dashboard
The Learning Analytics Dashboard gives moderators insight into participant attendance, engagement, and activity during a BigBlueButton meeting. Use it to monitor participation and review poll results in real time.
Opening the Dashboard
Click the gear icon above the participant list.
Select Learning Analytics Dashboard from the dropdown menu.
The dashboard opens in a new panel, displaying engagement data for all participants.
Available Metrics
The Learning Analytics Dashboard provides the following data points:

| Attendance duration | How long each participant has been present in the meeting. |
| Engagement metrics | An overview of how actively each participant has contributed to the meeting. |
| Emoji reactions | Which emoji reactions were used and how frequently. |
| Poll results | Aggregated results from all polls conducted during the meeting. |
| Activity log | A chronological record of participant actions during the meeting. |
Common Use Cases
- Attendance verification — check which participants were present and for how long, useful for courses and seminars with mandatory attendance.
- Identifying struggling participants — low engagement scores may indicate that a participant is having difficulty following the content or is experiencing technical problems.
- Post-session review — analyze poll results and engagement data after the meeting to improve future sessions.
