Multi-User Whiteboard
In multi-user mode, all participants can draw and write on the whiteboard simultaneously. Each participant's cursor is labeled with their name, enabling real-time visual collaboration.
Enabling and Disabling Multi-User Mode
Click the multi-user button in the whiteboard toolbar (icon showing multiple users).
When activated, all participants receive drawing rights and can use the whiteboard tools.
Click the button again to deactivate multi-user mode and revoke drawing rights from participants.
Only the presenter or a moderator can enable or disable multi-user mode.
Granting Whiteboard Rights to Individual Participants
Instead of enabling multi-user mode for everyone, you can grant whiteboard rights to individual participants:
Click on a participant's name in the participant list and select Grant whiteboard access.
This gives only that specific person whiteboard rights, without activating the global multi-user mode.
A blue pen icon will appear next to the participant's name to indicate they have whiteboard access.
Collaborative Drawing
When multi-user mode is active, all enabled participants can draw and write simultaneously:
- Each participant's cursor is displayed with their name, making it easy to see who is drawing what.
- All changes appear in real time for every participant.
- Participants can use all available whiteboard tools including pen, shapes, text, and sticky notes.
Multi-User Whiteboard in Breakout Rooms
In breakout rooms, all participants automatically have moderator rights. This means any participant can enable multi-user mode within their breakout room, making it ideal for group work and collaborative exercises.
Use multi-user whiteboard for collaborative brainstorming sessions, visual voting (e.g. "Place a dot on the position you support"), developing mind maps together, or documenting group work results.
With many simultaneous drawers, the whiteboard can become cluttered. Export the whiteboard content before changing slides, as annotations are not preserved across slide changes.
